I’m Trey Deere, an attackman and midfielder for Syracuse University. I take a lot of pride in representing my Haudenosaunee roots every time I step on the field. For me, lacrosse isn’t just a sport—it’s a part of my culture and identity. It’s something that’s been passed down for generations, and I try to honor that every time I play. I bring creativity, quick hands, and energy to every game, always looking for ways to make my teammates better and do what is best for my team. My goal is to compete at the highest level while inspiring the next generation of Indigenous athletes to chase their dreams and stay true to who they are.
