I’m Tahmar Upshaw, a U.S. Paralympic middle-distance runner and Division I athlete at Austin Peay State University. I was born with a brachial plexus injury, but that never stopped me from chasing speed, growth, and purpose. From making my mark at U.S. Para Nationals to leading my team in cross country and track, I run to prove that adversity doesn’t define you—how you respond does.
