I’m Savannah Reinke and I’m on the track and field team and specialize in throws, specifically javelin. A fun fact about me is I taught myself how to throw javelin and finished my high school career as a 2x State Athlete, State Runner Up, 3x Conference Champion and ‘23 MO MileSplit All State athlete candidate. I’m pursuing a degree in Mass Communications and minoring in Marketing and Spanish. My love for broadcasting began at 16 when I started working as a News Anchor/ Journalist for KMZU 100.7 radio in my Missouri hometown. I interviewed state officials and business owners around Missouri. Speaking to residents across my state led to a passion for community service. I poured that passion into organizations like FFA and Special Olympics. I wrote and received grants that continue to address poverty issues in my community by providing healthy food and hygiene products to over 500 students. I was also a 3x All-District, Conference, Dream Team, and 4x conference champ in basketball.
