Biography
Hi, I’m Sami Williams. I’m a professional softball infielder for the Chicago Bandits, the 2026 AUSL Hitter of the Year, and a member of the USA Softball athlete pool. I have five years of professional softball experience, formerly with Athletes Unlimited (2021), OKC Spark (2023), and NY Rise (2024-25). Outside of softball, I’ve worked as a Software Engineer in Baseball Systems for the Chicago Cubs since 2021. I hold a BS in Software Engineering and an MS in Information Systems from Iowa State University, where I was a four-time Academic All-American. In 2025, I received MLB’s Katy Feeney Leadership Award for my work with the Cubs.
