I’m Rhiana Hall, a graduate-year student-athlete at Frostburg State University. I spent three years as a starting guard on the Frostburg Women’s Basketball team before making the transition to rugby — where I earned a starting spot as a back and was named team captain within my first month. Even with only three months of experience, I made an immediate impact — not just on the field, but within the team. My energy and leadership helped shift the team culture, bringing more motivation, unity, and belief to the program. That mindset helped us compete harder and connect deeper — as teammates and as a team. On April 7, 2024, I tore my ACL, MCL, and meniscus in the final minutes of a sevens tournament. It was a tough setback, but it shaped me. After months of recovery and growth, I’m returning to the field this August — stronger, more focused, and ready to lead again.
