Hi I’m Rachel, a current junior at the University of Connecticut studying Chemistry. I hope to one day make a change in the world through scientific research. Helping others has always been a passion to mine which is why I think sports and particularly team sports have played such a crucial role in my life. Being part of a team where your peers are always there to cheer you on and where I can be there to cheer them on is something I truly treasure in sports. I am a member of the woman’s track and field team and I am a pole vaulter. Athletics have always been a passion of mine and I have worked my whole life to be able to compete at the highest collegiate level. I want to be able to work with people that have the same goals as I do and want to make a difference in this world just like I do.
