Hi Everyone! My name is Mia Pongratz and I am a junior studying Health Science at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), however I'm originally from the Boston area in Massachusetts. In terms of school, I am also the goalkeeper on the women's soccer team at VCU, in which we play competitively at the division 1 level. I love anything that has to do with being active, being outdoors, and refueling as it is something that can really change your perspective on life. Family is also incredibly important to me, and growing up I always looked up to older athletes for guidance. That is someone I'd like to be for the younger generations. I am trying to change the narrative and advocate for athletes struggling with mental health. Removing that stigma, we can change lives. Balancing work, school, and the social aspects of life have certainly helped me become the compassionate and hard worker I am today, and I'm so excited to help create such meaningful and beautiful work with brands!
