My name is Meg Roberts. I'm a neurodivergent NAIA cheerleader at William Woods University. I am pursuing a bachelor's in American Sign Language Interpreting in order to become an interpreter and help decrease both language and cultural barriers by providing equal accessibility for Deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing individuals. I am heavily involved on my campus, and my past and present involvement includes being a university ambassador, hosting community events, advocating for disability rights, participating in the writing club, interpreting club, sign language club, and more. In my free time, I am passionate about fitness and improving my health, as well as using my barista skills to create delicious espresso drinks. I'm still working on creating the perfect latte, but if being an athlete has taught me one thing, it's that all good things come with patience and dedication!
