Marcella is a member of the US National Canoe Slalom Team, representing Team USA on the World Cup circuit in the kayak, canoe, and kayak cross disciplines. She is currently representing in the U23 and Senior age categories, and loves training and being able to travel to new places through sport. Marcella is also a student at The George Washington University, pursuing a bachelor's degree in economics with a minor in geography, and a member of the fencing club. On the water, she strives to further her best every day, and hopes to work to build a positive and nurturing environment for young athletes. Off the water, her vision is to use economic data and concepts to provide insightful information to improve and solve problems facing our communities.
