My name is Maddison Parmelly and I graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a Bachelors of Arts and Science in psychology and a minor is philosophy in May of 2023. Growing up with two disabled parents I learned a lot about loving all sorts of people and the unique gifts they bring to the world regardless of their physical features. My parents were professional wheelchair athletes and their impact through sports has pushed me to advocate for equality in able body sports and disable body sports. I would love to one day represent a brand that advocates for equality in all aspects of life. Outside of volleyball, I enjoy discovering new restaurants, exploring coffee shops, hiking, and reading. Growing up with severe dyslexia made reading a challenge for me, but over the past two years, I’ve rekindled my love for it. I can honestly say that this journey has had a profound impact on my life.
