Kendall English is the Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Detroit Community Christian College, where he is building a competitive program centered on discipline, development, and opportunity. Since taking over the program, Coach English has focused on creating a winning culture both on and off the court emphasizing academic accountability, community service, and player growth. A Detroit native with a passion for mentoring young men through the game of basketball, Coach English has helped student-athletes transition to four-year universities, secure scholarships, and continue their athletic careers at the next level. His coaching philosophy blends toughness and creativity, pushing players to maximize their potential while preparing them for success beyond basketball. Under his leadership, DC3 has reloaded its roster with high-level talent, built strong recruiting pipelines, and established a culture that reflects the values of hard work, faith, and community.
