In addition to her biathlon career Kelsey is an outspoken advocate of gender equity. She is the Executive Director of the Women Ski Coaches Association (womenskicoaches.org) helping to support women in ski coaching. She also serves on the USOPC Women's Health Task Force, as an IBU Gender Equity Athlete Ambassador, a USBA Athlete Representative, and as an ambassador for Athlete Ally. She is an outdoor enthusiast and loves time training in the mountains. Kelsey is also a creative and has a number of creative pursuits from designing websites to selling block print cards.
