I just graduated highschool and I was fortunate enough to go to a catholic school that prioritized service learning. I volunteered countless hours at Saint Vincent Day Home in West Oakland. It was a great opportunity for me to give back to another community and being from East Oakland, I had yet to serve the West Oakland Community and it was a blessing. I am now fortunate to play D1 rugby at Long Island University and I am looking for ways to make the most out of this new opportunity.
