I grew up in Watford City, ND where I begged my mom for a horse when I was 7. Since neither one of my parents ride horse or knew anything about them I had to be extremely driven and work hard to meet my goals. I would practice roping the dummy at least 100 times without missing growing up. Rodeo has taught me so much in life especially how to work hard because nothing comes easy. In high school I was also Captain of your hockey team and lead the team in both goals and assists. I was also on the golf team.
