Hello, my name is Jaylani Darden. Originally from Longwood University, I transferred to Norfolk State University. In addition to being on the men's basketball team, I am also a 6'5" Junior guard majoring in psychology. The career I’m perusing is Marriage and Family Therapist. My freshman year I won a big south championship and made it to the first round of the NCAA tournament, I won a Highschool championship once, also I won a national football championship in 2016, Made tidewater player of the year & first team all conference, and finally volunteered at Enoch baptism church by doing community service and Craft/Curriculum Support. Being a role model by setting the example for those who want to achieve or reach the standards and overcome adversity in life.
