My name is Jabar Johnson, and I’m a 6’2 center back from New Jersey. I’ve developed through the NYCFC Academy and have had the opportunity to play with NYCFC’s second team, which has helped me grow and compete in a professional environment. I also represent Jamaica at the youth international level. Playing for both my club and country has taught me the importance of discipline, consistency, and competing at the highest level every time I step on the field. I’m always looking to improve my game, whether that’s becoming a better defender, improving my technical ability, or becoming a stronger leader. My goal is to continue developing and take my soccer career as far as I can. I know I have a lot more to accomplish, and I’m ready to keep working for it.
