I am going into my first year at The University of Rhode Island. I will major in Dietetics and minor in Kinesiology. I love sports and want to one day work on a professional sports team while working with kids during the off season. I have had my fair share of struggles with food and want the next generation of athletes to be able to enjoy their sport without food issues getting in the way. I love coaching younger kids and teaching them how to row. I also love to volunteer and give back. Every year since my 8th birthday, I have done a pay-it-forward birthday; instead of gifts I pick a charity and collect donations & make items (blankets, dog treats and toys) to go to that charity.
