Hi, my name is Emily Yacapraro and I am #4 on the Cleveland State softball team. I am a freshman outfielder for the Vikings. I bat on the left side as a slap hitter. Slapping is when you move your feet as the pitch comes in, to benefit being closer to first base. I am majoring in Communications and minoring in Business. I am hoping to become a Sports Broadcaster, as I love discussing, watching, and playing sports. I am minor in Business in hopes to start a sports facility. Growing up, I never had a slap hitting coach since there isn’t many in Ohio. I want to become a slap hitting coach to help athletes in the future expand their game and become a triple threat. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I love staying active whether it’s tumbling around, going on a hike, or swimming. I also work at Dunham’s Sports and I provide hitting and slapping lessons to athletes. I am very excited to use Opendorse and I can not wait to see where it takes me.
