After battling osteosarcoma throughout college and choosing to amputate her leg for another chance at competing in sports again, Rebecca Johnston has finally made it in Parasnowboarding at the highest level. During her first season, she worked hard to compete in the Continental Cup division and her success led to an opportunity to compete at the 2023 World Championships in her first World Cup races. There, she took 4th place in both snowboardcross and dual banked slalom, and took Bronze in the team dual banked slalom alongside Brenna Huckaby. Rebecca is now preparing for her second season of competition with the goal of obtaining a top-three ranking in the World Cup Women's LL1 classification.
