Carl Furhoff, a dedicated and ambitious sailor from Sweden, has been making waves in the competitive sailing world from a young age. At 18, Carl balances his passion for sailing with academic excellence to strive to excel both on the water and in the classroom. Carl has competed extensively in the RS Aero and ILCA classes, as well as with the LJS Racing Team and RS Aero Sweden Youth Team back home in sweden. His national and international results reflect his consistency and competitive drive: a silver medal at the 2024 Swedish RS Aero Nationals, top finishes at the Swedish Senior Nationals (8th in 2022, 10th in 2023), Swedish youth Nationals (5th in 2022). He has represented Sweden at the European Championship once and the world championships 3 times, winning 1st Junior at two youth world championships in 2022 and 2023. Ending his ILCA season of 2025 he qualified for the European Senior Championships. He is now doing collegesailing for the D1 team at Roger Williams University.
