My name is Beckett Heynen, and I am a student athlete, playing soccer at California Polytechnic State University, SLO. I am a second year studying Mechanical Engineering. Originally I grew up in Seattle, Washington and committed to play soccer at UC Riverside where we won the Big West conference and tournament. I transferred this year to play at Cal Poly. I am a very hard working and determined person who does not back down from any challenge. I am a very outgoing well spoken person who holds myself and others to a high standard. On top of school and soccer I also like to engage with my community through volunteering. I have spent time volunteering for food banks, FIRST Robotics, Special Olympics, and mentoring special needs kids.
