My name is Ava Vandernoth and I am a junior softball player at Fordham University. I am from Long Island, NY and I am a psychology major with a math minor. I have grown up playing softball and I love watching and playing other sports. I love the beach and traveling! My team recently won the Atlantic 10 softball championship and I am a former 4x All league champion and a 3x State champion from high school! I am a passionate college athlete who loves competing, growing, and inspiring others through the game I love. Softball has taught me the importance of resilience, confidence, teamwork, and embracing the highs and lows that come with being an athlete. Beyond the field, I’m especially passionate about creating a culture where athletes feel comfortable talking about what they’re going through. I believe that taking care of your mental well-being is just as important as taking care of your physical game. I hope to use my platform to connect with others!
