Ava is a junior outfielder and slap hitter for the Hardin-Simmons University softball team, where she studies Exercise Science with a Pre-Physical Therapy focus. She grew up in Pilot Point, Texas, and brings a small-town, team-first mindset to everything from competition to community work. On campus, Ava works as a personal trainer and supervisor at the Fletcher Fitness Center, helps train Parkinson’s patients, contributes to research in the Human Performance Lab, and serves on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. She is also actively involved with the Boomer Esiason Foundation, supporting its mission to raise awareness of Cystic Fibrosis through physical activity and advocacy.
