Anthony Albanese is a dedicated NCAA heavyweight wrestler with a strong background in athletics. He began wrestling at age seven with his local New Jersey PAL program before shifting focus to football and weightlifting. In high school, he returned to wrestling, excelling as a varsity competitor for three years and serving as heavyweight captain for one. A dominant presence on the mat, Anthony secured the 2024 LL Heavyweight and FCIAC Heavyweight titles, earning recognition from the Connecticut General Assembly for his contributions to his team’s success. He was also a standout football player, serving as varsity captain and 2024 MVP while excelling as both an offensive and defensive lineman. Anthony’s athletic achievements include a 5.14-second 40-yard dash, 285 lb bench press, 425 lb squat, 450 lb deadlift, and 260 lb clean.
