Biography
Hi! My name is Annika Malacinski, and I was born and raised right here in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. I'm a professional Nordic Combined skier and a proud member of the U.S. National Team. I’ve spent the last several years competing internationally, most recently finishing a successful World Cup season where I placed 15th overall. I’m also passionate about equality in sports and currently at the forefront of advocating for the inclusion of women in Nordic Combined at the Olympic level — a decision the IOC will finalize in June 2025. Beyond the ski trails, I’m a student at Colorado Mountain College, a plant-based athlete, and someone who cares deeply about outdoor adventure, wellness, and inspiring the next generation. I'm currently home in Steamboat for a few weeks and love to stay involved in the community — whether it's through local events, short film screenings, or helping out with odd jobs.
